Collecting semi auto pistol brass

I also feel your pain, and that's why I gave up on my Steyr, Astro Largo and Browning Long 9 mm pistols, as I lost way too much brass in the gravel shooting outdoors, and hate shooting indoors.
I still shoot 32ACP and 380ACP pistols, and was able to buy decent quantities of once fired brass in those calibres on the E/E here, so don't mind losing some of them.
Other than those two, it's the easy to get 9mm.Para, 45ACP and revolvers all the way.

I also feel your pain, this is why i ended up selling my .38 super. I loved the gun but was a case of shoot a mag then spend 20 minutes lookingin the gravel for starline brass and only finding half of it. Got to the point where it wasnt fun anymore to shoot that gun so off it went

i have to laugh at some of the stories,,my story is almost worst....i shoot a a club in the Ottawa area that shall remain nameless,,i was actually threatened with banning from my club for picking brass,,,a practice that is actually encouraged by the club,,so it's not like i was doing anything wrong,,the actual land owner was the one threatening me,,,and actually stalking me hiding around the place trying to catch me picking brass,,the club executives couldn't do anything about it because i suppose they are affraid the land owner would not let the club operate there anymore,,which i can understand,,,i thought that would be unlikely considering the couple hundred thousand dollars a year he makes of us,,but whatever,,it was told to me to STOP PICKING BRASS OTHER THAN MY OWN OR BE BANNED,,,i just decided to let the guy win,,and rely on friends to save brass for me,,,BUT THEY WERE TOLD NOT TO BY THE SAME GUY,,,so apparently i am also not allowed to make new aquaintances their too,,LOL...what can you do,,i'd rather not do too much about it and make it difficult for the club who are pretty much stuck with him,,,,,you should see the latest little contraption the man came up with to try all the brass for himself,,kinda like a mousetrap,,dont try and get your hand in there,,LOL..most likely for the brass weight,as he doesn't reload,,,or actually shoot,,sad,,but what can you do,,i do have good friends there,,,so better to let things be sometimes.
