collector ammo

It's like anything else it's what the market will bear. So many variables when pricing, single rounds, full boxes, maker, rarirty, condition, condition condition. Some of the boxes could be worth more than the ammunition. And it's always tough to put a value on something you can't see.
The best place to look for prices are reference books then onto the internet where there are lots of sights listing everyday ammo to the obselete hard to find stuff.
If your just looking to get rid of it put a price on that you're happy with sell it and move on. Or do the reasearch price it out, sell it piece by piece for months till it is all gone. For example a box of 50 .22 could be worth $5.00 while a box of 10 Kynock .577 Snider cartridges black powder could bring you as much as $100 in excellent condition............Regards, junkman
