Collectors of Japanese matchlock pistols

[Brian James]

This past week I was at a shooting competition and several shooters had original and reproduction Japanese matchlock pistols. While I'm not sure I'd shoot an original, some of the pieces are quite attractive with impressive gold and silver engravings.

All this to say is if you own one of these pistols and I (and suspect others) would appreciate you sharing a photo of it.

Thanks.

Brian

This is one pistol I've found for sale in the USA- the engraving is amazing
