Took the new Norinco 1911A1 for it first spin tonight... here's a grouping at 10 yards. Very impressed for out of the box. I liked everything about it... heck, I even like the trigger pull

I bought one a couple years ago and I am very happy with it,over 700 rounds down range without any problems.

I don't think accuracy was even an issue, a lot of other factors lower their value

In many ways the Chinese copied the Ruger business model. Norinco is just one of those examples. The products may not be full of bling but they usually work acceptably and often far in excess of their value.

IMHO the US arms manufacturers have learned their lesson though and in some cases are offering bare bones firearms designed to do the job intended rather than spend time and money on the bling.

Anyone with doubts about the much improved fit, finish, trigger pull and accuracy of the newer Norinco 1911s, aughtta shell out the 300 bucks to try one out for themselves. Sure you'll find it a keeper.
