Color Options?

So far I've found red, blue, orange, purple, but still no green.

I know it's out there.

I'm sure I saw someone with green anodized gear for their competition rigs, I just can't remember who.

As mentioned green is rare, most companies make blue, red, black, maybe orange or gunmetal etc

If you really want green anodized buy the parts in any color they come in and have them re-anodized green, most areas have local anodize companies that can offer stripping and re-anodize

I work on customizing sport motorcycles, and I have parts re-anodized to match for some projects. Where the customer wants a certain color on all their billet parts, and want them all to match, not like what happens when you mix and match anodized parts from different companies and you end up with 2-3 shades of the same color

Cerakote or other ceramic coatings are an option, but you will never get a true anodize look finish. I get that all the time with my powder coating and its just not possible, you can get some cool color options now but even colors called anodize dont look like actual anodize colors. ANd the color selection from cerakote to powder suppliers is much much less. Kinda like how you will see chrome spray paint, that looks nothing like real chrome plating

Not all aluminum anodizes equally. 6 series can be done in many colors, 7 series is rare to find in anything save black or clear for some reason.

My understanding is hard coat anodizing can only be grey to black. With standard anodizing, the colour comes from the post anodizing dye bath. With hard coat, the black comes from the actual anodizing process. That's why some companies have grey receivers. It all depends on the acid bath properties.
