So my buddy wants to go to Colorado for some ELK. Tags can be bought OTC so that's the easy part. Colorado requires anyone born after Jan 1 1949 to have a "Hunter safety education" certificate.
They help by providing courses to take when out of state people arrive.
However, I am wondering if any of the people here who teach hunter safety (especially in ONT) know for sure that an ONT certificate is valid. It appears to be from what i interpret from the CO DNR web page.
Next question - does anyone here teach that course? How much is it?
I have been hunting safely since 1980 but i need to get this certficiate to hunt in Colorado. Thoughts?
Thanks
