Here is an interesting and scarcely encountered British-marked Colt 1903 .32 cal.
Dated 1915, as per SN 179027

Only a few thousands of Colt 1903 were provided to UK during WWI

Pictures show British proof marks (crown/V) on back slide and frame

On barrel, in addition to crown/V, there is a crown/GP.
This marking goes back to 1670 when the charter of the « Gunmakers Company » was confirmed.

Also “JJ” letters above trigger guard. They likely represent the first two initials of the company manager (i.e. James Joseph Goodbody when he ran Colt's London Agency.) The purpose of the marking is thought to have assisted in warranty claims.

Pistol condition is excellent in all regards

For your consideration, fellow collectors

Very nice.

I have a soft spot for the Colt Model 1903 [.32ACP] & Model 1908 [.380ACP] pocket hammerless autos.
