I just got this at a ridiculous price. This new member is dumping some neat stuff on the market, mostly 12(6) I'm afraid. And great prices too. Made in 1929

Very nice lines on those beauties. Why can't modern pistols look elegant like that?

The sight of a Colt PP always make me think of the scene in Casablanca where Rick convinces the Nazi to "put down that phone".

I'd have to say early Type IV which would have the Type 4 grips, although the walnuts may be correct as well. Are they serialed to the gun at all?

I'm not sure about the rubber/walnut split when it comes to what was the 'norm'. Personally I like the hard rubbers better than the walnuts, but nothing saying you can't just switch them out.

Its just one screw :p

Oh by the way, VERY nice 1903! Congrats

Very nice specimen to compliment any Colt afficianado's battery.I see many of these pocket models on the market in .32 a.c.p. but rarely do I come across one in .380 a.c.p. such as the one and only one I have which I'm very fond of.Are the .380's as scarce as they appear to be or rather have they been stashed away as safe queens for the rest of us to drool over?Just a bit of Movie trivia here in that Humphrey Bogart preferred to use the hammerless model in his movies over the 1911's because of his rather smallish stature,he claimed the 1911 made him appear even smaller yet.
