Colt 1911 Centennial ordering in Canada

Does anyone know if the Colt 1911 Centennial will be available to Canadians, these are the plain Jane re-issue that I would be interested in. They will have serial numbers ###X1911. Any dealers out there taking orders?? I know that they are making one with lots of bling and engraving etc. but I prefer the simple good looks of the originals. These pictures are from wikipedia and show the original guns as issued 100 years ago.

Orders for the Colt 1911 Centennial pistol started in October, 2010. Only 750 of these $4000 plus pistols will be made, and I think I'm fairly safe in saying that none or only a hanful of them are destined for Canadian distributors or dealers.

None are destined for Canada they are all sold out. The regular one with the special serial number is available to order until November 2011. These are coming into Canada.

For sure Proline in Calgary is taking orders, unless sold out.

They are coming to Canada and are NOT sold out entirely yet. As mentioned above ProLine in Calgary has a block of the 1911's that they are taking pre orders for. There are 2 levels of 1911. The basic blued model will go for around $2k, maybe less, and the presentation grade in the case will be going for around $3k. I believe they only have about 3 of the presentation versions coming but 6 or 8 of the basic 1911 Commerative.
They are also taking orders for the 175th commerative SAA's as well. No, they dont have a website. They obviously wont be having sitting on the shelf given the demand.

Colt 1911 Anniversary Models

I visited Pro Line this morning.

There is only 1 ANV I being made. A beautiful piece of work that will be auctioned next year.

There are 750 ANV II's being made. Pro Line will be getting 2, and they're are already spoken for.

Pro Line will be getting 24 of the basic model - ANV III. I'm #7 on the list after paying my deposit; so there's about 17 left.

There are other Canadian dealers that will be importing them, as well. Happy Hunting.
