Colt 1911 original manual from 1920x

The brochure mentions the .38 "Military" automatic, which would be the Colt M1902. The M1902 was discontinued in 1928.

So, that places the manual before 1928, most likely much before that. They'd mostly given up on the 1902 by the time WWI rolled around, and it was never a big seller.

This grease I was told on another forum is for gas trap Garand. Instruction mentions the comp spring that was discontinued in late 1940. BTW if we have here M1 Garand aficionados - I will give this tube for free, just arrange pickup or cover the shipping.
