Hey guys,

Recently my dad and I have been trying to locate a Colt 1991 series 1911 for sale. I have searched all over the place (I live in the GTA), and called various stores with no luck, and most people say finding one is damn near impossible. Could anyone help me out!?! Were basically looking for a blued colt 1911 with the wood grips, a standard government model.

buy something other than a Colt in a 1911? Theres lots of choices. I would only buy Colts that were pre 1990s.
 
Check out ArmsEast, a contributing dealer here on CGN. Walt, the owner, has been bringing in Colt 1911s for a while now.
 
I was looking at armseast, can he order in a specific product? I just saw the one colt on his website on the online store.
 
He's super busy these days (one man operation) so give him a call. If you get the voice mail, leave a message with your phone number and he will call you back. I can't speak for him, but I don't think it would be too much of a problem for him to order in an extra pistol for you when he places his next order.
 
He does bring in some nice stuff though. Certainly worth the call. :cool:

thanks for the replies guys, Im going to look into both armco and armseast. thanks again, I will post updates (and hopefully pictures!:D)
 
So I contacted a few people, and was basically told Colt isnt really importing anymore. Whats the deal? Why does Colt seem to have there underwear in a bunch about importing to Canada? Just when I have the money for a 1911 :rolleyes:
