colt 1991 commander

I was thinking of buying a stainless 1991 colt commander.

Do they have any of the firing pin safty system in them???

Are they just like a standered 1911a1.

I want a commander without all they safty crap on it.

They wany $980 for the colt stainless cammander, Is that a decent deal???

or what elese should I Look at, No side ejecters, Para extracters, seres 80 fining pin systems .......just a 1911a1 firing system.

help me fellow gunnuters......find the Commander of my dreams

YES

If the gun is brand new, that's a decent price.

P.S. I wouldn't worry about the firing pin safety too much. Other than the "series 70" 1911, you will be hard-pressed to find a currently produced pistol that does not come with a firing pin block. It's been a standard feature on most semi-auto guns for many decades.
