Just received my new Colt LE6921 today and noticed it has a 6 position tube instead of 4! It has the exact same anodizing, forge marks, and profile as my 4 position tube but I've never seen a 6 before. Anyone else get a Colt recently with one of these as well? Works well with my short stature a little bit better that's for sure!

Literally all of them come with 6 position receiver extensions, it's pretty much the norm.
I believe only the leo/mil rollmarked 69xx will come with 4 position buffer tubes. Those are no longer marked as such I believe as all the M4's are essentially LE carbines now. All new carbines come with 6 position buffer tubes including what is currently offered by Colt Canada
I'm not sure what year it is but there was a date of manufacture when they started to change from 4 to 6.
Hopefully someone that knows more than me will chime in with dates.
I believe you can still order 4 position from Brownell's.
