I have one with a low round count like new. Are they going up in value because the USA is no longer allowed to export them ?

If they haven't already (One just sold for $1800), they will within the next year. No sense selling it now.

That being said, I'll buy yours for $1000, quick sale. :D

Last on on the board sold for $1800 if I recall correctly.I doubt you will get great deal of money for one .Maybe the same price as a new one .

They originally went for close to $2300. With the nonstandard pins - even for a Colt fan (me) they dont make a seriously desireable gun.
No collector will pay new for a used gun.

Now

LE6921 M4LE, and the AR15A3 Tactical Carbine -- baby I want one of those ones.

When Questar starts bringing in the same type of rifle in Bushy and RRA, watch the 6920 prices hit "ROCK BOTTOM". <Imagine Booming Reverb radio announce voice>. My opinion YMMV.

No. It's because people are retarded enough to pay top dollar for a Colt. I sold all my Colts to a die hard Colt collector for stupid amounts of money.

Is there any difference between 6920 and 6921 other than barrel length? Are there any retailers that still sell brand-new 6920's?

Bah. Keep your colt, I'll take a Stag any day. Just as milspec, considering that they come from the same production line only with different rollmarkings.

Oh, and a price tag that leaves room for optics and/or some picatinny gearwhoring!
