Colt 9mm mags?

It's gun parts after all. Not a necessity. Price is king.

There's a healthy middle ground, if everyone is discount/lowest price crazy then you're left with very few dealers who can survive on the slimmest margins.

Very high mark ups reduce your customer base to the wealthiest few that can afford it. So charging $60 for a $40US item is reasonable, $80 is steep but if it's the only source - you pay to play. A 300% mark up ($120 on a 40US mag) is unreasonable.

I don't mind paying dealers extra for going the extra mile to source something, it greases the wheels and gets it done.

$60 probably, 4/$200 better.

If you want to go the cheapest route, IRUNGUNS.US sells the plastic ProMags for $15 each, add $12.50 per mags shipping/border processing fee, then postage shipping from Alberta - that all comes in under $40 a mag - I'm waiting to receive some in January.

For steel mags you'll have to dig a little deeper, hopefully $50 to $60 from Dlask, finger crossed.

IRUN brokers for GUNBROKER.

Have a friend put colt mags on at a certain time - list them "clip thingies' under 'taxidermy' so no one will see them and you can buy them. :)

Then have IRUN bring them in, pinned.

You get lowest price colt mags in history, legally.

Your Welcome ;)

That would work with any 'Legal' item. Have a friend source it..lots of gun shows down there in the states. And put it on Gunbroker.

The only risk is, if someone else starts bidding.

I might do that next time I'm offered New Hampshire LE SIG 229's for $300.

Thanks, already familiar with that option, since IRG announced it a few weeks ago. I have no US friends to call upon, but IRG has to be getting stock of Colt 9mm AR mags eventually, they've got Colt 9mm AR's listed as coming soon, so hard to imagine them not sourcing mags too. They do sell alternate manufacture models right now.

There's been some great developments since this thread started, things are finally coming together.
