Colt ANVIII 1911 (100th anniversity model)

I have been doing a little searching and I hope a few of these babies make it to Canada with at least one of them making it into my collection. What do you guys think of em?

I doubt those will be imported in any significant number. It would be on a custom order basis most likely, you may even have to reserve one(if you still can). There are a few dealers above who would be able to import one most likely(contact Questar or Daves Sports, i think Prophet River firearms will also import it for a fee). The price is going to be the issue for most people. $2,295 US then convert to CDN, add import fees + taxes etc.

*should mention it is a beauty though, obviously not a shooter (although you could if you wanted to) it's more a display queen.

I don't think I want that version of the 100 anniversity model just the plain Jane one that costs 1100 us.

Personally, I'd rather spend the money on an original Colt 1911 in military or civilian trim.

If you're really interested contact the one of the dealers I listed they should be able to get it, i'm sure there are also a few other dealers who deal with importing, maybe someone else can chime in.
