I was wondering if any of you cats know where a guy could find a lower parts kit for an early 1990's Colt Sporter Target Model? (Serial: ST 013***) (Colt R6551)

I am in need of a hammer and disconnector for said rifle, and of course, standard AR-15 parts will not fit, or will not function properly in this type of Colt Lower. This is the model with the Colt sear block, and the front screw pin (not the standard AR-15 push pin).

I have looked everywhere I can think of, but I'm more of a Milsurp guy, so sourcing the "black" parts is a new one fer me! ;)

If anyone has any leads, companies, or websites where you know a guy could purchase the correct parts (and properly import to Canada if in the US) I would appreciate it. :) For anyone who can find me the correct info and I am able to purchase the parts I need from your source, I would gladly EMT a $20 finders fee to you once I have the parts.

The difference is some Colts have "large pin" triggers ( .170 pins ) vs the std .154"

Just buy an aftermarket large pin trigger if you cannot find the individual Colt brand components

Depending how much you want to spend , Geissle would be a great choice

Although its seems like a lot of $$ for a trigger, its worth every penny.
