I was wondering it anyone knows about compatibility between colt, bcd and daniel defense receivers. i read somewhere someone saying that colt changed the position of the takedown pins which would make combining other makes with a colt lower difficult.
I am thinking buying a colt le6920 and then a bcd or dd middy 16 so i have something other than a carbine as well.
Aside from physical compatibility, any modifications i would have to make to a carbine lower receiver if I put an upper receiver with a mid-length gas system on it?
