Colt Canada "blem" IUR uppers

That's what I heard. Allegedly they were made and shipped to Denmark on spec. The Danes ended up not exercising the option, and they were shipped back. Apparently they weren't packed perfectly and suffered a few dings.

Maybe not true, but my source usually knows what he's talking about.

This is true however I'm fairly certain the Danes still ended up using quite a few of them. Just where sent a few too many, so some ended up being sent back.

Makes perfect sense, explaining why some had a few minor dings while most were perfect...

Mine had zero blemishes. (and shoots like a damn house on fire)

I was told that these had been shipped back and forth across the Atlantic. Hence the possibility of blemishes or scrapes. Where-as the current IUR offerings came straight from Colt Canada.

I couldn't find anything on mine. It was fine. I took the SA15.7 stock upper off and put it away. I use the IUR all the time now. It likely has a blemish or two on it now.

I bought one before the blem deal. It had blems. CC didn't replace it.

I sold it at a loss and kept my other non-blem.

I put more blemishes on mine from laying it on the ground than I could find when I got it. :)

Then brother, have I got a product for you!

Step right up and get your very own bonafide AR-15 rifle stand.

It folds. It unfolds! It keeps your gun out of the dirt.

Dirt, my friend, is the number one cause of jams, double feeds, and stoppages.

Dirt gets good men killed and helps communists win wars. Keep it away from your rifle with this simple contraption.

And brother, this little unit even comes with it's very own rubberized pistol grip.

Did you know A2 grips have been linked to hand cramps, arthritis, and dysentery?

That's right, for a limited time you can get your kickstand and your grip together, and never drop your precious plinker in the dirt again.

I bought my pre-blemish release at full retail but I do recall a post on here of someone's blemished IUR that had a piece of one of the top rails chipped off pretty badly. Can't say I've heard of any worse than that.

Mine had a little scuff maybe 1-2mm on a corner of one of the rail sections, literally would have done that buy setting it down roughly if you can call that a blem. Well worth the $500 as like TVPP mine shoots like a laser.
