Colt Canada C8 or whatever IUR

What's it like with some rail covers? ie. KAC's covers? Do they just end up melting?

There's only a short piece of rail at the front edge (visible in the pics), and when I was shooting the guns, we didn't have a vert grip, or small rail covers. So my hand was at the portion where the ribbed piece is.

I wouldn't think the covers would melt, but they'd probably get pretty warm...

So it did have that goofy fore end..... And again, why not just go with what's been around now for years, and works...... Rhetorical. Isn't the first time, and ain't going to be the last.

Colt Canada(formerly Diemaco) was better years ago, like why the classic pistol grip still, and still there out of date collapsible stock that should be replaced..... or at least get something from Magpul CTR would be fine. Problem with the CF is they never have a new idea, bunch of old fogies those Generals...lol..
