Colt Canada C8CT

Hey all,

First real post here, but im reasonably active on Arfcom.

I'm just a dude in the states that loves Diemaco/Colt Canada stuff. Have a near 1:1 11.6" SFW clone, Dutch IUR upper, Danish C8 upper, etc. My new project however is the C8CT. Im struggling to find info on these, mostly regarding the barrel profile. I had someone who knows some people at Colt Canada ask, and they reportedly dont have any records remaining, since the Norwegians were their only real customers for that rifle.

Mostly looking for info on how they were set up, and info on the barrel. I have someone making repros of the riser and front sight, so i mainly just need a barrel now

I wonder, can we export you our C8s?
They were banned last year. We have tons that are just lonely in our safes.

Not to my knowledge. Last i knew, Import can only be done for the purposes of R&D, repair, and trade show/demo usage, and has to be authorized by our State Dept. and Colt USA
 
Ask I Run Guns.

BTW Big ####, there have been threads on C7 and C8 builds over the years here. I think someone ID'd the particular C8 profile because it isn't M4 but close to someone else's. Use the search functions and go deep into the years.

The C8CT is its own sort of thing, not a run of the mill C8 or its variants. I’ve looked about everywhere for info on it, and it is not easy to find
 
I am unsure on the profile, maybe RebelRouser can help you out with the brochures. But it sounds like a cool project, let us know how it turns out! I am working on a C7CT "clone" and finding even lookalike parts is hard
