Colt Canada IUR Uppers and Complete Guns (with OMNI Lowers)



Ryan thanks again for the excellent communication & quick shipping on the two IUR uppers & Trijicon ACOG/RMR combo... This IUR has a brand new Les Baer NM hard chromed bolt carrier assembly, Troy front & rear folding sights, PRI charging handle, Magpul vertical grip, Surefire flash hider, rubber rail covers...

Guys please post pictures i am a noob but i almost spent 1800 on a Daniel defense today at Calgary shooting center but after some thought i think i want to do my own. I am looking for ideas , for full complete set ups , or just upper set ups or what ever i am on a waiting list for this so i will definitely be buying one i just want so ideas. please post LOTS OF PICTURES THANK YOU!! I will check in every couple days. thanks.
 
Anything regarding BCG'S , GRIPS, BI PODS, FLASHLIGHTS,LASERS, for grips, scopes/red dots, ect ect please post em . I want to see lots so i can decide . I would much appreciate it.

Nice Really appreciate it. i just don't think i want to go Daniel defense route, no offence to Daniel defense lol. I think i want a 1 off custom Rock n rolla. My baby so to speak. Although daniel defense really does make it very hard. So nice.

Not that it matters because I tossed it straight into the spare parts bin anyway, but is that wear normal because they test them at the factory?

Got my IUR today, one day earlier, thanks! The IUR came as expected, well packaged and protected in a sealed plastic wrapper, with bubble wrap, then cardboard and foam donuts inside a cardboard box:

Got my IUR with Omni lower yesterday.
I was suprised to get the same mag that came with my SA15.7 and even more surprised at the neat range bag it came in. The lower is not the el-cheap thing I was expecting. It feels plenty solid and I'm going to have fun with it just as it is. The trigger is very nice.

You asked for the "specs" on the BCG. Understand that the whole BCG is an assembly of a few different parts.
Just checked online, FWIW, and I believe the material you refer to ,(Carpenter 158 Steel), is just for the bolt itself.
Per another vendor, who purportedly makes these BCG's also, to milspec, (from what I found): Bolt = Carpenter 158 Steel, Bolt Carrier = 8620 Steel, and Extractor = Aircraft Quality E4140 Steel. So fenceline's spec is fine, just for the bolt carrier itself.
If you want to make double sure, try to find the mil spec for each piece, but I imagine the literature from this other maker (AB Arms) is no BS.

Guys stop freaking out about the BCG. Its standard mil spec high grade stuff Colt would never allow (for lack of example) "norinco" to stuff a BCG into their ar-15 that will be used in extremely intense fire fights. I hope you understand that. Colt canada is a specialty arms manufacturer and there is a reason why they dont just sell to anyone. Are there better of course. Point being colt canada contends with the best and is used by the best LE and Military officers and soldiers if the BCG was garbage and unreliable it simply would not be used by colt,or anyone else. So please chill on the "what are the specs on the BCG" blah blah blah. Seriously splitting hairs here.

Ummm, you aren't suggesting that the bolt carrier group sold with this combo is the same one that Colt Canada provides to police and military are you?

Cuz it isn't. Not by a long shot.

It isnt crap. But it isn't a Colt Canada product either.

I think he is saying that the BCG in the complete rifle will be just fine for our needs.
And I'm sure it will.
