Hi, I recently purchased a Colt Canada '6921', not 6920, LEM4 with 14.5in barrel, serial LFC0004XX. Came out of a US LE agency, of course pre-loved. I am told these are a rare find. Can anyone shed any light on these. Paid $1875US.

Thanks.

There are 4 different roll marks for Colt Defense ARs made under contract by Colt Canada for US leo sales. They are pictured in this thread:

http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php/1203546-Rollmarks-Colt-Canada-Diemaco-Lowers

Before Colt Canada began selling to the public here, Colt Defense Made in Canada models were selling for 3g here. Now prices have settled more to standard AR prices, with a little boost in price because of the Made in Canada marking for those looking for such a piece for their Canada Colt collections.

I'll get some images up soon as I can figure out how to upload. The receiver config is identical from image no. 12 on the CGN link provided above. The ser is LFC0004XX.

14.5in w/1/7 twist std NATO bbl w/ generic A2 flash suppressor. KAC quadrail fore end, w/covers and std KAC vertical grip, and GG&G double rear sling attachment. Std 4 pos retracting butt

Bolt carrier is diemaco marked, bolt is MPD marked

Upper is flat top, Diemaco marked rt side, as is the detachable iron sight/carry handle rt side.

Barrels are Colt Defense, not Colt Canada. Typically the lower receiver, pistol grip, buffer tube and occasionally the upper receiver are Diemaco products. Same for the bcg and bolt. As nearly all of these were issued to PD in the US customization sometimes occurred. They are used rifles.

Detailed pictures please of the rifle markings.

Sorry for the

delay in posting these pics, just got caught up in life....

Series of photos on this link. I can't figure out how to post photos yet :).

The small green stickers are an Australian thing, to track eqpt maintenance, placed only for nostalgia.

The Wildcat optics (vintage 1991) were an Ebay find, as was the bayonet from many years back.

14.5in barrel is dated 05-10, and is CMP marked. Bolt and carrier are Diemaco marked.

A2X flash suppressor perm attached to bring it over the legal 16in.

Nice M4LE.

The carbine you have that is Made In Canada Rollmarked is indeed rare as Rebel Rouser mentioned. I have only seen one for sale in a couple of years and I believe you might of snagged it. Colt M4 Rollmarks are common, M4LE rollmarked Colts are not so common, an M4LE Made In Canada is rare. Having the 14.5" barrel makes it more so since most M4 rollmarked Colts come in the 6920 configuration and not the 6921.

Here's my LE6921 14.5" barrel, all factory original (FH not pinned) :
Made in Canada lower & upper receiver and Diemaco BCG.

Brand new ( well, New old stock )

With a Diemaco bcg.
