Morning folks,

Looking at the Colt Canada site it states the MRR comes in a 15.7" barrel configuration. Every other site lists them as a 16" barrel. Are there two configurations? Are sites just calling the 15.7" a 16"?

I know CC makes an SA model in 15.7" so using the same barrel in the MRR would make sense but I's like to be certain.

Any help is appreciated.

Excellent thanks.

I'm trying to determine if the 11.6 would be too short for me (longer limbs) Does anyone have the dimensions from butt stock to the forend of the handguard? (with the stock in both collapsed and extended positions)

No stores in my immediate area have stock to get my hands on it. I'm only able to find the OAL online, I would assume the OAL includes the length of protruding barrel and I'd like to know how much realestate I'd have for hand positioning.

Thanks in advance

About 28 inches fully extended stock. And about 25 retracted. Keep in mind thats roughly the edge of the handguard.

I appreciate all the help folks. I ended up grabbing the 11.6" and wanted to ask any owners out there a few questions.

The salesperson was a little shady, the box wasn't in great shape and there was no mag in sight. Although not a deal breaker as the rifle itself looked good, this led me to closely inspect everything I could while it was in hand. My questions are as follows:

1.) Besides the rifle, what other accessories/ documentation came in the box?
2.) Did your rifle come with a cheap a2 birdcage flash hidder? The flash hidder was also way off index and I was able to losen it by hand. The online manuals from CC say the MRR's come with a compensator.

Thanks in advance

The IUR came with a SAW compensator. Colt Canada changed to A2 birdcage on commercial rifles.

I got mine from EE. But when IUR contract overruns were available for $600-$800 retail for an upper, they came in plastic bags.

I had no idea how good they are at the time. Believe the hype, LOL.

My 11.6 MMR (1st run) came with an A2 flash hider as well. It was put on correctly.

As for accessories.. a mag, manual, mag well lock & some stickers IRC

No Otis cleaning kit, rear sight or sling like the SAs...

Managed to pickup a C9A2 flash hider for it (same as on the IUR), looks way better than the A2 on the MMR imho

They come up for sale on ee. in mint condition here and there. Coulda saved a pretty penny. Unless he hooked you up. But good score nonetheless, I've always wanted the 11.5 inch. Have fun!
