I was finally doing some load development (8208 xbr and 77gr smk for my IUR rifle (came complete), and I haven't been able to break 1.125 MOA yet.
I'm kinda disappointed, I'm used to 3/4 MOA or smaller groups with my bolt gun. Then I realized I have no clue how accurate a gas gun should be, and figured I'd ask other CC owners how accurate are their rifles at 100m?

Through my SA15.7 I was able to print a sub MOA group with 69gr Fed Gold Match and *just* over 1 MOA with the 62gr Remington Hog Hammers. I haven't made the leap into reloading yet but its coming so hopefully I will be able to work out some good loads but most of the shooting I do is CQB style.

-Saryet, out!-

My factory DD M4V5 shot sub-MOA with hand loads and my home-built upper with an 18" DD S2W barrel got down to sub-1/2MOA. I haven't been out to reshoot the 18" S2W upper since so that may have just been a couple of lucky groups.

hm, I may have to pump up the powder a tad.. I stopped at 22.3 gr, max is 23.5. Suppose I've got a bit more testing to do.

I think my dirty bore may have something to do with the results too, now that I think about it. Last time I cleaned it was before the CQB match in june, I've fired about 450 rounds since then.

SA20 with a Leupold 1-4 scope.
75Gr Hornady HPBT match over 24Gr of Varget. LC brass with a #41 primer
100 yards seated with a front rest.
This load seems good at 100 Yards, 100 meters, 200 meters but drops right off at 300 meters.
Higher mag scope would definitely tighten the group a bit.

You'll want to try a few different combos of powder, primers and bullets before you find the magic potion... CC IUR can do MOA or better once you get it dialled in. Keep working it!!

See you next tac match!

With PMC 62g best I could get was about 1.5 with a red dot. Most groups were 2-3". Keep in mind. It's a red dot at 100. Using my IUR mounted in Norc lower.

With my SA20 and Norinco ammo I was consistently 5-6" at a 100 meters; was terrible! My first reloads with Norc brass, Berry's bullets, and 24.3gr H335 I was printed a handful of 1.5" groups with one 1.25" at 100m with the first 50 rounds of a sand bag. I was and still am using a Bushnell 1-4 scope. Super pleased and don't feel much need for trying to improve at this time.

The CC barrels are great but still its a CHF barrel not a cut match barrel build for target accuracy. Its easy to clean and durable.

I been getting 2 inches with 55gr campro at best and 4 inches at worst with my SA20. This is at 100 m with a eotech

With the C7 and the c79 combo shooting unsupported I get just bellow 2 inches when zeroing for PWT 3.

I doubt the barrel is more inherently accurate than a Colt US barrel, DD Barrel or an FN barrel but still the rifle is very consistent and reliable.
