Anyone here received his 15.7 upper? Could you guys get a picture of the 2CO85 markings on it? Mine came in with a defect in the casting/forging

What kind of defect? :0

Nothing major, just a minor defect in the markings, the letters/number don't poke out like they are supposed to.

I have contacted Nordicmarksman, they have an awesome customer service and will take care of that! I was just wondering if i was the only one who got one like that

2c085 is the cage code. The keyhole is the forge mark. This particular receiver was made by cerro forge.

I just received mine in the mail from somewhere else...the 2C805 is messed up same as yours and the flash hider was installed upside down. CC might have the late shift working on these rifles

That must have been quite the brain fart to put the a2 on upside down.

As for the blemmed markings terrible. I'll take it for 650.

On a serious note. I wouldn't worry about the cage code. Having any functional issues?

Nope, no issues internally. I'm not worried about it at all. Actually once my lower receiver gets anodized I'll now have a complete L119 clone .....except for that darn elusive solid FSB. Hey Brad, any chance of finding one of those lying around somewhere? haha

Without having any knowledge whatsoever of the actual reason, I'd imagine it's because the tooling is gone. They don't make barrels of that length anymore, so if you were to see some, they'd be surplussed, like the recent C8 upper surplus run, which have 14.5" barrels.

They make them. Police departments are still buying them
