Colt Canada vs. Aero Precision vs. Spike's Tactical Stripped Lowers

Bought an Aero today. Now just waiting for the paperwork to go through. This is probably old hat for those of you with experience, but I find it funny that when I go pick up my $100 hunk of aluminum with some holes in it, that I need to bring a lock and a locked case. I could probably do more damage swinging the case at someone compared to throwing a 16 OZ. Paperweight at them.

Franzen Magazine AR locks work well on a stripped lower or you can just run a cable lock through the magazine well. You can pick up a franze from select shooting supplies or true north arms.

I believe both aero and cc come from cerro forge, and both have good finish and machining. Pick the cheaper of the 3. Don't know who makes spikes receiver but their stuff is generally good as well. There's no wrong answer with any of the above.

Aero unless you like spending $$ for nothing and or have a boner for a maple leaf on your gun (always a cool reason btw) or are snobby enough to want some other brand displayed....in which case spend on and enjoy.....its Canada....the weapons primary duty is to make you smile :)

A matched Aero set is THE way to go for guaranteed quality and upper/lower solid fit.
