Colt Colt MKIV Series 70 Customization Advice

Hi all,

I hope everyone is having a great start to their Canada Day Long weekend.

I have a couple questions on how and where I can get some custom work done to my well used Colt MKIV Series 70 in 9mm. It's been sitting in my safe unused for the last couple months, as it needs a bit of work. I have a bit of a soft spot for it, so I would like fix it up. Here's the list..


1. A New Barrel,

- I didn't think it was possible, but the current one is a mirror, there isn't enough rifling left to keep her as accurate as it used to be. I have been told a new barrel is the only option and that it would be best to send it off for fitting.

2. A New Trigger

- The current one is alright, but I would like a new one, and would like to have someone tweak it to 4lbs.

3. A New Magazine Release

- The current one works, but the screw head has been stripped just a bit (easy to replace I know, but thought it was worth mentioning).

4. Cerakoting

- The bluing is toast, and she has a few nics, so I would like to have it cerakoted


Would any of you know of anyone I can send it to who would be able to help me out? or would any of you be able to help me out?

I would also appreciate any advice or anyone can send along.
