What is a reasonable asking price for a mint condition, one of these? Bought new two years ago. Less than 50 rounds fired and comes with an extra set of grips, walnut - which I made myself... and look pretty good.

Thanks,

Ivan

This last two pictures are of the Colt with a pair of Walnut grips that I made. The grips themselves turned out pretty good, almost identical in dimentions to the original, however I f#$cked up the drilled hole for the nut and bolt assembly. I wasn't very happy... Still, I think with some epoxy that could be fixed.

Once again, let me know what you guys think a reasonable asking price would be. The local gun shop has the exact gun on consignment going for $950 or somewhere in that range.

I'd say 950$ is a bit much, it'll probably sit on the shelf a while at that price.
A good rule of thumb is since you bought it new just knock 100-150$ off the new price (since it's mint). Again, might not sell fast, but you don't want to screw yourself over either. I could be wrong 'cause prices on SA revolvers has gone up with CAS becoming more popular
Any of you guys agree/disagree?
(just one guys' opinion!)

I completely agree that $950 is a little much. Apparently the store was going to reduce it a bit as it had been sitting a little long.
