I already check into these and the RCMP won't let them into the country because of the auto markings. The RCMP has already put a stop to the import of the Troy XM177 series for the same reason.

I think the Troy one was blocked because it has a simple where the ###y "third pin" would be. I guess the horse cops are worried someone would use it as a template.
 
that was my guess, it had nothing to do with the marking but rather A: where the bad juju pin template is B: has the low shelf and wide pocket maybe?

I know of a few lowers which all happen to be Aero but with either full auto or burst marking still making its way in.

I built one off a minty USGI M16A1 like new parts kit years back and just used a DPMS stripped lower.
Cost me like $1K max lol
Yeah it's not "Colt" but I've been beating the #### out of it for 5 years an it just keeps going...
 
I even asked the US State Dept. and they said any semi auto lower that has auto markings on it is non exportable. There is a few of us that were trying to build clones. The other option was custom engraved Nodak lowers and the said no to that also. So I'm throwing in the towel and giving up.
 
Congrats to the new owner, as it apparently wasn't going to go to a Canadian in any case. I weep for Rebel Rouser, as i know he had his heart set on a genuine retro Colt. At that price however, I could have bought 2 Troy XM177E2 carbines for full MSRP! Double the cost just for a "prancing pony" engraving...Yikes!!
