Colt Front sight

The front sight on my Colt Gold Cup is loose again. I had it fixed last year and I assumed it was soldered but the job didn't last. Any suggestions on a fix that I could do myself?

Its not easy to do yourself without a swaging tool. Swaging alone or swaging and soldering should do the job.... These are those who use silver solder, but that would require a slide reblue.
If the tenon is getting battered form reswaging efforts, it might be necessary to install a new sight.

If you want, I could take that poor gun off you cheap and
you could go out and buy something that the front site is
dovetailed in and that would solve your problem.
P.S. If it is done right , this won't happen
