I recently scooped three .22 handguns from a friend. One is a little "Colt Single Action Frontier Scout L.R." revolver. It is an "F" series, 1958.

It is in decent used condition, likely hasn't been fired very much over the years. The grips are in good shape. Bluing is worn at the muzzle and there are a few scratches here and there. 4 3/4" barrel, six shot.

Can anyone place a fair value on this little piece? I don't see myself keeping it.

Thanks in advance for any positive input.

Thanks Dan. I figured in that area somewhere. I've never been a fan of those gate loaders. Too fiddly for my big hooks. I realize, though, that they do have a huge following. :)

I have three of those with each barrel length they made. All of them have the adjustable sights.

I would say Dan is correct on pricing given condition, although I have seen nice examples go for as high as $600 a few years back.

That was the later version, the New Frontier on the G frame. I have two of those, a 22 and a 22 Magnum. - dan
