Colt Gunsite...Any CGN's got one?

Man I love Colts... Hey! That's my Commander you guys were bashing! Truth be told I don't care for Colt's beavertails. Your hand sits low on the grip. I like beaver and I like tail though.

Danny, like I said earlier in this thread there is a difference between ducktail and beavertail....the later one rides higher and looks better too, IMHO!

(Wonder if Hitzy even handled a Colt!:))

Never one with a properly fit beavertail, no........

That all I use on my 1911's. Either Nighthawk VZ grips or 10-8 Performance and finally Gunner / Strider in Tan.

I'm a big fan of those grips. All my wood grips are going for sale shortly.

No, my request on the EE here is a little odd ball... I'm looking for the left side grip panel only...

I ended up with a set for cheap where the left grip has been buggered with. I cleaned them up as best I could and gave them a paint with matte black Krylon. The right side is functional/usable but the left side is still unsightly. Figured there might be someone out there with just a left side medallion grip panel in the parts box they wouldn't mind parting with. Then I could have a complete functional set.

Here's what I've got now [Note in this pic the left side panel I'm hoping to replace appears on the right in the followin pic] :
