They are actually mexican marine - they are using the marine more because the army is infiltrated by the cartel as well.

KevinB, just a thought about optics near salt water spray. I am always trying to clear the film off the glass, is there a trick to keep them clear aside from rinsing with water?

Flip Covers or a rubber bikini cover.
Really for Maritime Ops - run an Aimpoint - the spray wont really cause major issues. But eventually you will need to clean it with lens cleaner, I try to avoid water - it generally leaves streaks, blotches and/or a film of its own.

I usually keep a couple of Leupold lens pens around but wasn't sure if there was a better way.
I use butler creek covers on most everything.
