Got a pic of a prospective KC. Won’t be able to see it live in person.

The cylinder has a heavy drag line. Either the lock up bolt is dragging or the pistol has been misused/abused.

I compared to my Anaconda and the timing is excellent with a light drag line. My Python is even better.

I want to know what everyone thinks.

A heavy drag line like that just means it’s seen lots of rounds. Perhaps not all live rounds or 357 Mag. Could have been just dry fired lots with snap caps or shot plenty with 38 spl wad cutters. What happens is the bolt wears down and makes a larger contact area on the cylinder.

Its probably fine. They can take a lot of rounds like a S&W before going out of time. They’re not like a Python which needs a little more attention to wearing parts that effect timing.

Thanks for the response.
