Colt Lawman MKIII

Anyone familiar with this gun ?

I am being offered one with a 4 inches barrel and I can't find any local reference as far as value is concerned.

I know it is a 12.6 but it is not a problem for me.

The .357 Lawman was the fixed sight version of the Trooper Mark III and was made to be a police duty revolver.

It's bigger than a K frame S&W and probably a pretty tough gun. As for value, I would put it in the $300-400 range like a lot of 4" wheel guns which are undervalued because of the 12.6 nonsense.

I prefer Smith & Wesson or Ruger but it is kinda of neat big blaster.

One model level down from a Trooper model. One of the last .357 DA revolvers Colt made. Discontinued around 1982. Haven't a clue what they're worth. A 6" will be worth more though. Bigger market.

I have one , 2 inch snub nose, and I really like it. They got a nick name " The wax remover " and with good reason !! Blued with fixed sights, in excellent condition, have no idea what its worth right now, But no plans on selling it , All in all a Nice Gun.

I found that I wasn't fond of the shape of the Trooper's stocks, bit IIRC the Lawman has smaller stocks, so the forward angle at the front of the grip frame might not seem as extreme.
