I am a noob so please be kind:p To mate a Colt LE6920 upper to a Stag-15 lower with a mil spec ACE stock and buffer, what do I need? Are the pin sizes different? Can I get a shim/bolt to make it work? Any loss of reliablity? Thanks for the help:)

You don't need anything they will work together perfectly

Oh, you "need" to ditch that "milspec" ACE stock becasue ACE stock is not part of any mil spec. Buy a proper stock like the Crane, Vltor or a magpul.......or just the good o carbine stock.

I love this place! Thanks Greentips for the answer and a little attitude in less than 15min!:p I like my ACE stock, for better or worse its on the lower. Was worried about larger pin holes on the upper but that is a non-issue. Cheers:D

Only the FCG pins on new production Colt guns are of a non-standard diameter, still no problem to replace as a lot of manufacturers make them. The upper is GTG. Enjoy the LE6920, it's the holy grail of the AR-15 world. Be sure to post a few pictures when you get the chance.
