Colt Lightweight Sporter or 6920?

Ugh. CFC closed today, waiting is the hardest part. Especially since I have all week off, I'm climbing the walls with nothing to do.

My hunt for an SP1 carbine continues, I like the slick early uppers more...

The plastic stock is not colt.

Hmm... A2 upper and lower. You have the start of a nice 727/Blackhawk Down clone. I'm putting one together myself but it's Armalite. Get a CAR stock for that bad boy.

I know what you mean about the SP1, I prefer A1 uppers myself. Barrel could be thrown on an SP1 upper and lower eventually.

ETA: just noticed this rifle has the dreaded sear block. Changing the bolt carrier and triggers can be problematic in these rifles. No biggie if you plan on leaving it fairly stock like this nice utility carbine deserves.

The only thing I'm planning on changing is already done. Repro aluminum stock with 2 position tube (its commercial spec but what you gonna do). Other than that, this one's staying as-is.
