Colt M4 22LR

I was at Moving Target today and was looking at this new rifle.

It seems to be fairly well built, but is it worth $599? The pros are that it is non-restricted and has a 30 round mag, im just wondering if anyone has any experience with these guns and reliability.

I was unsure about buying it, but the sales person told me that they only have 10 left and were going fast. is this a good gun to buy?

I'm pretty sure I've read on here that it's restricted, otherwise, we'd all own one.

I would have thought the same, but was told it is 100% non-restricted.

I just searched it and still don't even know if it has an FRT# yet.
I retract my comment about us all owning one if they were non-restricted. They are apparently crap.

Many posts on this rifle. Most definitely RESTRICTED. Big, Black, and Evil. We so called legal gun owners can't be trusted with such a device of mass mayhem.

There has been some Confusion .We do not have these in stock yet . I think it was the the Remington 597 , or maybe the Armi Jager you were looking at .

I really don't think this will be non-restricted. The GSG5 was prohib just because of its resemblance to the MP5. This will at least be restricted because of its resemblance to the M4, but likely prohib.

BUt I don't know for sure...

Restricted is the word from my dealers supplier, same goes for the M&P.

I'd hope it gets classed as non-restricted so more shooters could own one.

However, I got tired of waiting and bought a Tactical Solutions .22 upper. Now I'm not sure I'd buy the Colt M4.

It seems to be fairly well built

I saw an image of a cracked lower reciever (which seemed paper thin), so I might stay away from the first generation rifles.
