I owned 2 of these, both the shorter 7.5 inch cqb version. It was all metal which i liked. It was the most reliable .22 i have ever shot aside from bolt actions. That being said the trigger was pretty stiff with alot of creep (8-9 pounds). Taking it apart was a pain in the ass but once it was apart you could really get a good clean on it. The main disapointment for me was the bolt release is not functioning on these rifles. Thats were my old Mp-15 22 really started to look like the better option. The Mp is very much like an ar as far as simplicity of cleaning and all the parts were functional (aside from forward assist), so as far as muscle memory and training goes the mp is the better option (if you are ok with only shooting 10 rounds) Long story short, the Colt looks, feels and is more reliable then the Mp, but the fact that the bolt release doesn't operate is a deal breaker for me. Worth the extra money ? depends on what you are using it for.. If its for looking, feeling and shooting well then it is worth the money, but if its for training then no i'd go with the mp or a .22 conversion.
