nice build & parts

only dislikes from me, would be the Colt ambi charging handle & sling plate.

charging handle because the "ambi" part sticks out way too far and catching on webbing/etc
sling plate because I've seen a few wear through and 1 fail (depends on what is clipping/attaching to the ring) the metal is kinda soft. watched a buddy take a core sample when his failed after "let'em hang, show hands"... thud! into the mud!...ugh!
that said, these were on weapons carried a daily, and hung by a single point directly clipped to that plate.

the charging was just tough to get usedtoo after years in military. when they switched over it was just frustrating when they got caught on everything. if we had them from day one it probably wouldn't have been an issue.

I concur on that. Love the Colts. High five.

I have few Colts now. So tempted to get more when I see them on the EE. I built a Socom a few years ago. Some members on here helped with EE offerings.

Thanks Homie I was not sure too about the charging handle but I really like how its look ! If I dont like and get caught in everything I will change it same for the ambi sling plate; fact I love its Colt Canada

Very nice rifle. I have a similar setup and my only recommendation would be to add a curved trigger guard, Canadian made trigger tech 3.5 and swap the charging handle for a raptor. Love that roll mark now i need one!
