Colt M4??

Everyone really has to give up on this "it looks like a silencer, I might get arrested" bit. Its not a silencer, or a suppressor. Its a hunk of metal. Some rifles have heavy barrels, that might make them 100000'th of a db quieter than a light profile barrel (though I doubt it, big deal if it does) some .22's are quieter than others, big deal. Whats on the end of this rifle is not designed to suppress the sound of it firing, thus its not a suppressor (I know a pop bottle isn't either, but if you put one on the end of the gun, its for the purpose of suppressing the sound, this is for looks). If we keep asking however, some anti's going to pick up on it, and decide its a good idea if they were banned. Heck, sound is the transmission of waves via the air, technically bedding a rifle stabilizes the barrel possibly making it quieter, who knows.

Just my 2cents.

I was in agreement with you up until your comment on the "anti's" and your theory of sound supression through bedding, both of which lack any merit to debate.

guys guys guys...wait for 2 months after these come out. every firearm owner will have one, the market will be flooded, the novelty will wear off, and you can buy 4 of em for the price you would pay now =) hello Mcfly :p

I don't see the big deal? Its a variant of a high power military style rifle thats been chambered in a pea-shooter like rimfire cartridge. It's like buying a Ford Mustang with a V6.

You know, I have to say that I'm feeling skeptical.......

How can this not be a variant of the AR-15 family? I mean, maybe I'm wrong, but isn't that .22 M-16 lookalike from Squires-Bingham restricted because of that very reason......or a similar .22 look alike??

Don't get me wrong, I hope it is completely non-restricted. A .22 semi in this config would be great in the field.

I have a .22 Squires Bingham and its not restricted, model M16 R, looks like a M16 with telescopic stock. Very accurate pea shooter.

I'm getting this:

And I'm putting it all together. hehehe

I shoot speed steel once a month at the Mission range.
You shoot four white steel plates and then a black stop plate. Tons of fun.

It usually goes like this:
"Are you ready?"
"Stand by."
Beeep...bangbing...bangbing...bangbing...bangbing...bangbong. Time... 4.55 seconds.

With this bad boy it's gonna be:
"Are you ready?"
"Stand by."
Beeep Kablang-klabong... Time... .18 seconds. hahahah

That 22lr flare thing would make the launcher prohibited if you inserted it... it might be prohibited by itself depending on how they looked at it.

The problem is that neither the launcher or the insert are registered firearms... If you could register them you might be able to do it but that is just a guess on my part.
