Colt m4a1 le6920socom would you buy?

Yes! EE is kind of a comedy routine right now… I love how they put at the end of their overpriced items… 'Firm'

I find that most people who whinge about prices in the EE, desperately want an item, but somehow aren't willing to pay the premium... Neither do they possess the resourcefulness or gumption to acquire that item on their own. This is where all the asinine lowball offers come from (hence the "firm").

If you think it's overpriced, don't buy it! The choice is all yours... But, certainly don't expect one to magically fall in to your entitled little hands.

The guy that buys up all the KSG's in Canada, then tries to sell 'em at twice the cost... That's the guy you need to go after.

To the OP: Hope you bought the 6920 SOCOM... Awesome rifle.

Good points Gummo… I guess always want something for a 'deal', or I go without it, no big deal. And yes, that SOCOM is a great rifle!

Did anyone that got one come with any scratches or dings? How is the troy rail? It is to bad the Socom does not come with KAC rail anymore.

Well said. whiners have no idea how much money and time it takes to import firearms and parts.

I personally ended up getting it with the burris tac30 scope. Should be here Monday, I wish it came with the KAC rail but got a good deal on it so I cannot complain. Anyone with the Troy rail I would love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks T

Well my 2nd Socom came in and unlike my first socom has only a few dings etc... I love this AR it is beautiful can't wait to take it out. Anyone else have one??

--Questions--

1) Do you have any good cleaning videos or guides??
2) How is the Troy rail

Thanks T

Got two with SOCOM 14.5" barrels. One has the Larue 7.0 rail and the other a KAC rail. I've only had a chance to shoot the one with the Larue rail. Don't really notice too much of a difference from another one I have with the government profile barrel other than its heavier.

Something interesting I've noticed with the SOCOM rifles is that the tolerances seem to be slightly tighter than the regular 6920... There's no "wiggle" betwixt upper and lower, and it's real tight to get the takedown pins out. This is on the M4A1 lowers. They seem tighter than all versions of the regular 6920 lower.
