What the heck is going on in the US of A with prices on guns lately?

I checked the major sites and that gun (stainless version) is going from anywhere around $1000 to $3000!!!!

I guess demand has out stripped supply?

Walther and even Interarms .380 PPK's are doing the same thing.

It's strange that prices for .380 pistols would be so high, given that .380 ammo is in short supply from what I've heard.

..tjhaile"... The small pocket pistols, like the .380 ACP, are "carried a lot but shot seldom" so the ammunition supply, is not as big an issue as it would first appear. .... David K
