I'm posting some photos and info on some hand guns that are in my father's estate that the family hope to sell before the government puts any bans in place. I'll post them one at a time. We're just trying to get an idea of value before they go on the sale sections. I know time is tight, so they'll go up fast. We would appreciate any help you could give us. There are some milsurp and some civilian that I'll post in the pistol and revolvers section. I'm sorry for the poor info and photos. The guns should have been wiped down first but these photos are all I have. I don't have them at my house, but if you have specific questions I'll try to get them answered. Thank you.

I like this Colt. Has a real been there, done that feel.

Based on the little crossed pennants mark, it's probably a Canadian WW1 purchase. If it has MP on the butt or any RCMP markings on the back strap the value would be much different.
As is the finish is mostly gone and the grip looks chipped at the rear. If the bore and lockup are good it'd make for a nice shooter grade example, I'd expect $400-$600 for it. Really nice ones with no special markings go for about $1000.

My brother has it in hand and is describing it to me. The serial number is in a few places. The crossed flags are on the back of the cylinder and the side of the frame. When the cylinder is open there is an M and the serial number on the front of the frame. No RCMP or MP stamps.

Bore looks good and the lock up and timing are good he says.
