Colt New Service revolver maximum loads

Hi,
I have a Colt New Service .455 Eley manufacture date 1914. I've read that these were built like a tank, and many were reamed out to 45LC. Being that the cylinder could withstand the 45LC pressures, and considering that the case capacity is about the same for 45ACP. Would the New Service also be able to be loaded to maximum 45 ACP? KD

I wouldn't have any problems shooting my 455 NS with loads that equaled 45 ACP loads. Not +P mind you, the metal is just about 100 years old. - dan
