Colt Officers Model .22lr

If it's really as good as your short description and lack of pictures says then a good starting price would be $700. The only other one I've seen which had evidence of light rust spotting that had been rubbed off didn't last long in the local store at $500.

If as described minimum 700+. These guns are often in the 1000+ range nowadays in excellent condition. But.... no serial or pictures make it difficult to call.

I paid $600 for what I would consider to be a 80% Officers Model Match.

gravel.... how much of my S/N do you need to tell me when mine was made?

gnmontey the Colt sight has the lookup for most of their guns. Colt.com then to customer services and down to serial number lookup. BTW 600.00 for an 80
is a score. I won't even start on the current U.S exchange.

Looks to be 1956, but the search doesn't list the Match model, just the Officers Model and something call an Officers Model Special.

gnmontey, the officers match was introduced in 1953 and is similar to the officers target except has a heavier tapered barrel and a wider hammer spur.
If yours is a 22 it is worth about 20% more than the 38. This is gleaned from my old Colt Standard of 2007. They also note a "Long" or "Short" action on
this piece. The short being single action only. This version in .22 only brings a 25% premium. All versions were discontinued in 1970. You have a prime wheel gun!

I wouldn't take a penny less than a G for it, but then again if she's as smooth a shooter as she probably is I wouldn't
part with her. For more info hit google or do the usual Gunbroker search.

FWIW I almost bought one a few years ago for 800 at a gun show in alberta.
It was in excellent condition. But that was the match version.
