Colt Percussion Revolver manufactured before 1880

Are the second generation Colt percussion revolvers( the ones manufactured in the 70's if theyre called 2nd gen) still considered restricted by government. Never understood how two identical firearms, functionally the same and onecould be considered restricted and the other a non gun.
Yes they are still considered restricted. No different than a Uberti. Soon to be unrestricted……..in Alberta.

Under federal law, yes. Just another example of our retarded gun laws. Be nice if they weren't, I have 3rd Model Dragoon, a 51 Navy and a 60 Army in the series. They are quite nice versions. Be nice to take them out more. - dan
