Had this little beauty for a while and wanted to share.
Colt Pocket Positive .32 Police caliber with 2" barrel and special order cut-off hammer. DOM 1937 or so. Really nice shape.

Any more of these old snubbies around?

I'm currently trying to figure out how to inherit one of these from my father in law who wants to pass it on to a fellow enthusiast. Don't know if I can or not... still trying to read everything. Might have to get my wife all licences up for him to will it...

I have one of those with a 4" barrel (still prohib by both calibre and barrel length). Mine has pearl grips, which make it look like it was probably a pimp's pocket gun. But it also has a police serial number (SPF followed by a single digit). I assume the two are incompatible.

It always reminds me of the line from "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown": "He got a 32 gun in his pocket for fun, he got a razor in his shoe" , even though Leroy was a gambler, not a pimp. I wonder if some bureaucrat heard the song and decided that .32s should be the next thing banned.
