Hello All, I have been keeping an eye on a nice little Colt .32 six shooter that i would like to put on my collectors lic. Pat'd Aug-5 1884-june 5 1900-july 4 1905. I would like to know if these are rare as this is only the second one i have seen and the price seems fair. T.I.A. for answers. .45-90:confused:

Police positives in 32 Colt used to be pretty common, it was a standard police revolver back in the day. I saw a few some years ago, but i was off on a railroad police revolver tangent at the time, and they used a lot of PPs (in 32, 38 S&W, and eventually, 38 Special). I would pay around $200-250 for a good one, unless it had a special history. FWIW - dan

Door Stop

The picture is of my old 38 Special Police Positive and it is called the: "Door Stop." Why call it the Door Stop? Because it rather looks like one of those cast iron door stops. I bought this revolver years ago with the intention of converting it to 32 Magnum. Before I started the project I decided to shoot it. Was I glad that I shot it before mucking with it as it shoots like a house on fire! I had a matte finish done and it wears Herrett grips. Regards, Richard:D
